Ronald J. Garber, D.V.M. Veterinarian, Owner (Dr. Garbett's husband)

Dr. Garber received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from UC Davis is 1975, Masters of Science in Pharmacology and Toxicology from UC Davis in 1977 and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from UC Davis in 1981. Noah's Ark Veterinary Clinic was founded in 1984 after working in San Diego for 3 years. Dr.Garber enjoys jogging, swimming, surfing, tennis, gardening and spending time with his wife and 16 and 18 year old boys. Dr Garbett, my wife, retired from practice July 2001, after 20 years, to spend more time with our kids.

    

 

 

Kristen Unverferth, D.V.M. Associate Veterinarian

Dr Unverferth graduated from the Ohio State University, College of Veterinary Medicine. Before starting at Noah's Ark, Dr Unverferth lived for nine years high in Aspen Colorado where she practiced quality medicine, diagnostics, emergency care and surgery at a busy feline and canine practice. Her Santa Barbara family consists of two golden retrievers and two cats, all of which were rescue cases brought home from work. She is a talented clinician, as well as a good communicator and a very caring person. With her compassionate nature and skillful diagnostics she treats our friends and neighbors in the community the way they expect from Noah's Ark.

 

   

 

 

Andy Miller, DVM Associate Veterinarian

Graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2005. Dr Miller also has a Bachelor of Science in Biology. In 2005-2006 he did a one year Small Animal Internal Medicine and Surgery Internship at (VMSG) Veterinary Medical and Surgical Group in Ventura where he had intensive post-graduate training in internal medicine, surgery, radiology, and emergency medicine. Dr Miller is a very caring, thorough and conscientious veterinarian who gives our patients the type of quality care that clients expect at Noahs Ark.

 

Dr Angela Dyer

Dr Dyer obtained her degree in veterinary medicine in 1995 from Michigan State University. She practiced small animal medicine and surgey in San Diego for eleven years. Druring that time she also got experience in emergency medicine. Dr Dyer has special interests in veterinary denistry and anesthesia. In San Diego she volunteered as a Crisis Inteventionist for the San Diego Police Department, a Disaster volunteer with the American Red Cross and for Grief Recovery Online.
